Sorted by record, then points for.
Holy smokes, I have watched this week one tape twice and I still cannot get over bdemeyer. He put 158.76 on the board, which is the second-highest score in the entire league, and lost by 5.04 to teekist because Allen went for 35.7 and would not be denied. And here is the part that keeps me up at 4am: 74.8 points sat on that bench, including Coker's 33.8, while Dicker the kicker went out there and produced a 2. Two points. From a starting slot. That is not a loss, man, that is a crime scene with a chalk outline around it.
And it happened twice! Coletrain22 got 37.3 out of Williams, an absolute masterpiece from the quarterback, and still lost 134.94 to 134.22 because Young put up 32.4 on the bench and Fannin gave him 4.1 at tight end. Seven tenths of a point. In a superflex league he had the better quarterback week in the entire league and he only started one of the two. Meanwhile farti wins the thing with Nix scoring 6.4 and a bench that produced a grand total of 6.6, which is the fantasy equivalent of winning a street fight with one arm in a cast.
Elsewhere, gaylord757 got 35.3 from Henry and won 116.58 to 97 while starting Chase for 3.2, Waddle for 1.2 and Aubrey for 1, three starters under five points and he still walked out 1-0. JordanVM fed him that win by starting Pitts for a clean zero and leaving Hubbard's 23.7 on the bench. Marfffa rolled jessfox2 by 35.5 behind Gibbs at 33.6, and jessfox2 trotted out three starters under five, Dowdle 4.1, Darnold 0.5, Loveland 0.0, which is a superflex lineup playing shorthanded on purpose. DuggyHowzer took ScoutTeamHero0630 by 29.9 on Walker's 34.1 while benching Watson's 32.7, and chairlift, owner of the worst draft board in the league, won 136.9 to 105.1 because Dart went for 26.6 and dgaylord37 left Stroud's 16.5 on the pine and started a kicker who scored a 1.
So the standings say six teams are 1-0 and six are 0-1, and the two highest scores in the league last week belong to a 1-0 team and an 0-1 team separated by five points. bdemeyer has 158.8 points for and a loss. JordanVM has 97 points for and a loss. Same column, completely different problems.
Allen put up 35.7 and teekist won by 5.04, which means without the quarterback that 163.8 becomes a 128 and this report is writing a very different card. That is the first overall superflex principle proving itself in week one.
bdemeyer left 74.8 points on the bench, Coker alone going for 33.8, and lost by 5.04 while a kicker put up a 2 in his starting lineup. He scored 158.76 and still went 0-1, which takes a special kind of planning.
